General Chen Yong-hua's tomb was built in 1681. In 1953， the tomb was declared a historic monument by the Provincial Government. In 1971， the Tainan City Government allocated funds to the Chen's Family Association to carry out restoration， and the premise's management once again fell under the Tainan City Government in May 1976.
