Phone:886-49-2732116 Address:Nantou County Mingjian Township
Qixing Army Base Park (Bunker Theme Park) was originally a military site of the Ministry of Defense. 11 battlefields and a command center were built at Songling Region, including 27 bunkers and 3 buildings. Later on, when military demand was not needed in this area, local society demanded the reusing of this land. Therefore, the bunkers were handed over to Mingjian Township Office for management and maintenance. After designing, the 7 bunkers adjacent to Shoutian Temple had become a new site in the tea garden. Given that the main god being worshipped at Shoutian Temple is Xuantian Shangdi, its representing stars are Big Dipper and Polaris. Therefore, the bunkers were designed into Bunker Theme Park to correspond with Shoutian Temple. In accordance with “the 5 elements” and “the 7 stars”, the 7 bunkers were painted into white, green, yellow, black, red, gray and purple to represent the features of each battlefield.
