In early times, the farmers in Tianzhong Township mainly grew paddy rice and tobacco. During the winter, the tobacco leaves danced to the wind. The scene of the farmers roasting tobacco leaves in each family was vivid. Due to the shift in agriculture, very few tobacco houses are left now. There are only 8 of them left in Dongxing Community. One of the red brick tobacco houses is transformed into a museum to display the farm tools, equipment for preparing tobacco, and fabrics woven by the farm women back then.
