The Bei Ji Temple of Zuo Zhen is mainly for the enshrinement of a god and a goddess， namely the Imperial Lord Xuan Wu and the Heavenly Holy Mother. The temple at the present location was built in 1974. Its construction is grand and impressive and it has become a religious congregation center for the neighboring community.
