Karma Kagyu Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist temple (White Sect) located in Tainan City. Established in 1985， this monastery includes a Dharmarāja hall， monk's abbey， pagoda， nun's abbey， and Treasure god's cave. Combining both Tibetan and Chinese Buddhism styles， it is one of a kind. In the Buddhist Monastery， the Buddha's Pagoda rises high above and is eye-catching to visitors even from a very far distance. Therefore， the neighboring mountain area is nicknamed as "Pagoda Mountain."
