The Shrine is located in Ancian Village is also known as the Horse Grazing Marquis Temple or Fuji Temple. Legend has it that it was first built during the Tang Dynasty and over time, gradually evolved into a classical temple complex with three sets of doorways. It is now a class 2 historic monument. The Shrine is dedicated to Honorific Lord of Grace, who in life was the Stable Master Chen Yuan who accompanied Emperor Dezong when he led a colonization expedition of twelve clans to Kinmen during the Tang Dynasty. After Yuan died, the local people built a shrine dedicated to his memory. During the Yuan Dynasty, the imperial court gave him the honorific Marquis Sage of Fortune and Blessing and presented the shrine with the plaque Fuji. It has retained a loyal following to the present day.
