Most of Lukang’s ancient monuments center on the town, only few can be found in the suburban area. However, after January 3, 2000, “Xu Mu Agricultural Village Cultural Artifact Museum” was open in Nanshi community, Yangsu Li, Lukang that combines the surrounding sightseeing spots and becomes a hot spot for the biking tourists. In the museum, there are two major categories of tools: harvesting tools and village life tools. It has become a base for promoting cultural education and community culture that schools and the public may come for a visit to witness the history of the village development and experience the ancient farmers’ hardworking spirit “one grain of rice, nice drops of sweat”. Thus, the ancestor’s wisdom and their hardworking farming life can be better acknowledged. Welcome to the museum for a rare, wonderful journey of time.
