Wuqi Fisherman’s Wharf is located in the Qingshui District of Taichung District. When it was opened in 1989, more people started to come. It used to be a small-sized fishing village. But because the government built Taichung Port, and levied the nearby tidelands, in order to take care of the fishing industry and fulfill the social needs, the wharf developed towards production, recreation, and tourism.
