The Kaohsiung Kuanti (Guandi) Temple is a flourishing yet venerable temple, which has been standing for over 300 years. The temple is dedicated primarily to the Holy Lord Guanyu (Saintly Emperor Guan), who symbolizes loyalty, and also has areas dedicated to the Zhusheng Niangniang (Goddess of Birth and Childcare) and Fude Zhengsheng(God of the land), while the back hall has altars to the Bodhisattvas Guanyin, Samantabhadra, and Manjushri. There are also the Wenchang Hall, Caishen Hall and believers in Yue Lao (god of marriage)- the temple is always packed with devout worshippers praying for good luck and health.
