The Cishan Sugar Factory, built in 1909, has been famous for the quality of its products since the Japanese Colonial Era – it is already a century old. As its economic environment and the times have changed, the Factory has also changed from a dedicated sugar factory to a diverse leisure park which features frozen foods, flowers and plants, and other activities. A multifunctional square, ice-skating rink, bike trails and other areas have been planned in the park, as well as a special ostrich park, making the Cishan Sugar Factory a great family daytrip.
