The introduction of modern clean-room facilities was a pivotal moment for Dacun Farm. It also represented a major breakthrough for the entire edible/medicinal fungus cultivation industry in Taiwan.The fungus cultivation process beings with the selection and fermentation of quality saw-dust. These are mixed with nutrients, vacuum packed then sterilized at 130°C before fungal spores are added and cultured under clean-room conditions.The clean-room equipment is god-like in its ability to optimize the air, temperature, humidity, and light to provide the best growing conditions for fungus. The fungus can then grow at a steady and energetic pace.
