It is the dream of a boy, who spent his childhood running in a vineyard, to have a huge grape farm of his own. Forty years later, after learning wine brewing in Germany, eventually, he fulfilled his dream in his hometown. He insists on growing pesticide free grapes there. In addition, the farm is design in a German village style so that visitors can enjoy their vacations in a European style farm in Taiwan. It offers parent-child grape picking activities, wine brewing instructions, and more to visitors. It is the only home-stay in Dacun – “Gasthof Vitis” allows people to experience farm work and farm life in a vineyard.
