Traces of History-the Red Hair WellThis well was excavated by the Dutch, so it was called the "Holland Well", and because the Dutch have red hair; therefore, it was nicknamed the "Red Hair Well". In 1636 (Chongzhen 9th Ming Dynasty), not long after Holland's East Indian Company succumbed to the Jhuluo Mountain Tribe, the Dutch sent administrators and missionaries to Taiwan.
