Taichung Military Kindred Village Museum is located near Jinhua North Road and Beitun Road intersection. It was originally Beitun New Village which was one of the 134 military kindred villages in Taichung accommodating air force officers above the rank of major and their families. Veterans moved away one after another more than a decade ago. Rectification and renovation was conducted to repurpose the village and four iconic architectures remained. The construction of the museum was completed in mid November, 2014. The over 660 square-meter space is the first local establishment of a military kindred village cultural preservation.
