This is popularly known as the resplendent “Fong Yi Jade Emperor Temple”. Built in 1798, it was originally a crude structure, but as a result of its efficacy, it became more popular by the day, and gradually assumed the grand, imposing proportions it exhibits today. The Temple is a 2-story southern Chinese-style structure with halls, best-known for the preaching plaque a lifelike picture inlaid with jade of a retinue of gods clearing the streets. The temple exudes a religious art atmosphere inside and outside.
