Fisheries Research Institute， Council of Agriculture founded in 1929 is to promote the development of fisheries， aquaculture， and seafood processing in Taiwan. The headquarters is located in Keelung and there are six centers nationwide to response the technology R&D.The purposes of fisheries exhibition located in Keelung are enhance public understanding and to promote resources conservation of the marine environment. The gallery of exhibition contains freshwater and saltwater aquariums， specimen， and artifacts with information of fisheries development in Taiwan.
