On the left bank of Bitan is the Sunlight Sport Park， which features a waterfront play area， a kida playground， sand volleyball pits， and a rollerblade park. These facilities provide local residents with a place to exercise and relax. The park is at its prettiest in the beginning of spring when the cherry trees blossom. It also features the Sunshine Bridge， which opened in 2011. The bridge connects the two banks of the Xindian River and lights up at night in an array of colors， creating a romantic atmosphere and forming a new Xindian landmark.
