At the opposite end of Wazihwei Nature Reserve there is a long beach that runs along Tamsui River. It used to be a restricted observation post for the military， but now it is open for visitors. A boardwalk serves as a perfect point from which to see the sunset reﬂecting off the water of the river and out into the sea.
