The Tourist Center uses an array of white, grays, and blues to create a harmony with the sea and sky. Its second floor is the largest shell museum in Southeast Asia. Donated by Huang Ge-Liang, a Kaohsiung resident, the collection displays nearly 2000 types of shells often found in and around Taiwan. Possibly the largest shell collection in Taiwan, the shell museum is truly a wonder to behold. The center has a viewing platform that extends from the shore into the sea.
