Qiedong ancient route has been developed for years; it can lead everywhere， so， for the local residents in shiding and Xizhi， it is a very vital corridor. It is an primiive and simple footpath situated along the valley behind Dajian Mountain， and goes upward along "Qiedong Brook，" an important brook nurturing the people of Xizhi. For the local residents， this brook is not only used for irrigaion， but also the important water source for drinking and washing. Moss grows around some of the stone steps of the ancient route. Walking here， you may see the relics let by the early culivators. For example， the land temple， an abandoned stone shelter and stone stairs， Seeing these wonders， will call back to the days of the pioneers; so， it is absolutely a tour of humanity and enjoyment of the natural beauty.
