There are markets and stores in Suantou Community. It was built in the Japanese Colonial Period and the old community was dismantled for the construction of houses in 1982.There are only two roads in Suantou Community: One is “Houbi Road” and the other is Market Street, which was crowded with people at night twenty year ago. Many quacks would come here to attract people with special performance in order to sell drugs so local people often came here to shop.On the opposite side of Suantou Elementary school, there are many stands and vendors. Before that, vendors often concentrated on the sides of Suantou Elementary school, resulting in dirty and disorderly environment. Later the vendors were organized to sell goods here.
