Located next to the Zhecheng Culture Park of Suantou Sugar Refinery， the Chiayi Carbon Reducing Eco Park was converted from an idle warehouse into an exhibition venue which comprises six areas dedicated to various themes: eco-multimedia， water environment， air pollution prevention， recycled furniture， Giant Tree Theater and eco-friendly living. The park not only meets the needs for environment protection and education， but also offers schools a great option of excursions or environmental education. Beyond a simulated course of Puzi River that stretches through the park outside the exhibition venue， picturesque delights are available at the neighboring Zhecheng Culture Park， the Southern Branch of National Palace Museum and an artificial wetland around Jieshou Bridge. Moreover， recycled furniture auctions take place in the park on the last Saturday of each month.
