The entrance to the 4-kilometer Shuiliujiao Mountain Trail is about a six- or seven-minute walk off the industrial road near the gas station in Pinglin. The gas station is beside the decorative facade that was built over the Beiyi Freeway. The start of the trail is level concrete which quickly turns to rising steps. Walk slowly, and listen to the slight breeze while admiring the beauty of the mountain forest. Soon the exhaustion inherent in busy modern life melts away. On top of the mountain is a pavilion where you can take a rest and look down over the town. Adding to the excellent view is a blue arch bridge in the distance, to the right of which is a traditional Fujian-style building that serves as the Pinglin Tea Museum.
