The campus of National Tsing Hua University, one of the finest universities in Taiwan, is well known for its beauty. The school's late principle Dr. Mei I-chi is buried in the Meiyuan, or Plum Garden. Every year when spring approaches, the garden is smothered with gorgeous white plum blossoms, and a steady stream of visitors come to enjoy the amazing scenery. During weekends and holidays, many families fly kites on the campus's Great Lawn. Other points of interests include the beautiful Cheng Kung Lake and Kun Ming Lake, two favorite spots for lovers on dates.
