Since introducing the newestDa Vinci Single-Port (SP) Robotic Systemon May 23, Dr. Ou became the first in Taiwan to complete a SP radical prostatectomy. To date, Tungs’ Hospital has completed250 SP robotic procedures, with Dr. Ou performing more than50 successful cases, offering patients the benefits of minimal incisions, faster recovery, and improved quality of life. Commitment from Intuitive Surgical Mr. Chi-Sheng Yang emphasized that physician training is the core of medical innovation. Beyond providing the Da Vinci surgical system, Intuitive actively builds a comprehensive training ecosystem—simulation, clinical observation, and proctor development—to ensure surgeons worldwide can deliver optimal patient outcomes.
