Jieyun Temple

This is one of the oldest temples in Banqiao. Its predecessor was a temple built in the Qing dynasty， which was burned down in a fire. The Lin family in Banqiao later relocated the temple to another place in Banqiao city. After the construction of the Lin Family Garden was completed， the god statues of the temple were taken to the site of Jieyun Temple， which was built to worship them. Over the last 100 years， the temple has been religious center for residents in Banqiao， Tucheng， Zhonghe and Yonghe. The temple has collected some precious old inscription boards and couplets. The wood sculptures of gods wrapped by shiny gold foil and unique oval-shaped plafonds are unique designs that give this temple historical and religious value.
