New Taipei City's Hakka Museum is circular in shape, modeled after a type of traditional communal residence in Fujian province of Hakka village, and it is packed with artifacts and traditional folk toys. These items, along with Hakka-related exhibitions, allow visitors to better understand Hakka culture. In addition there is storytelling, a favorite among children, and on weekends there are lei tea and DIY lantern making activities. PTS's Hakka TV provides the opportunity to experience live television broadcasting, and it plays exciting drama series.
