Minquan Old Street is a simple street in Sanxia that is 260 meters long and has more than 100 ancient homes with baroque facades and elevated archways. It is a street that maintains many of its traditional features， such as the former name "Sanjiaoyong，" which today can even be seen at the street entrance. Starting from the Qing Dynasty this street became an important commercial zone of Sanxia， where residents could find all kinds of supplies and goods. They could come here to see tea made or cloth dyed， or they could buy camphor， go to a tea house or a Chinese medicine shop， or visit the grocery store. The old street is also filled with food options， including favorites such as steergolden-horn buns， pig's blood cake， and handmade bean curd tofu pudding. When visiting， no journey back in time is complete without stopping by the Sanxia History Museum， which is known as "Taiwan's most beautiful office building." The museum is not only a historical landmark but also houses extensive historical records， making it one of the district's most important cultural and tourism landmarks.
