Teresa Teng was the most famous and influential singer in Chinese communities around the world, and was known as someone "applauded by billions". It could be said that her voice could be heard wherever Chinese people could be found. The over 1,000 songs she sang are still constantly heard today, 20 years after she passed away, and she is missed by music fans. Teresa Teng's family established this Memorial Hall for music fans to visit, on their own, in order to commemorate the far-reaching contributions Teng made for music and culture.
