A bout 600 meters high, the mountain is located on the east side of Jinguashi. The mountain gets its name because it is shaped like an a snout-less teapot when viewed from a specific angle. Seasoned hikers are advised to take the trail connecting Teapot Mountain, Banping Mountain, and Canguangliao Mountain in Jinguashi. As there is no shade along the way, remember to bring plenty of water and sunscreen with you. Less experienced hikers can drive up to the mountain and walk for about an hour to arrive at the Niufu Orebody Area of the Banping Mountain Hiking Trail. The coastal view from there is absolutely amazing!
