The rail cart was designed by the Forestry Bureau to transport timber and logging tools. After the logging industry declined， the vehicles have been used to transport tourists. Although the carts do not have a luxurious appearance， they are pretty reliable in terms of transportation efficiency as it takes a short time to arrive at the waterfall， which is 1.6 kilometers away from the first station. There is a Lover's Trail by the rail along the Nanshi river valley. If you want to have a relaxing trip， you are advised to go up the mountain by taking the cart and get down by taking the Lover's Trail to get to Lansheng Bridge. You can savor the picturesque riverside and mountain and enjoy your forest spa on this route. *Adult Ticket NTD$50 and half-price ticket NTD$30
