Amitabha Buddhist Temple lies in the Dongmen Road of Tainan city. It was established in the very end of the Ming dynasty. The temple is enshrined with Amitabha and according to its own history; the temple was the first Buddhist temple that has ever been built in Taiwan. In 1971, the temple was rebuilt with the style of the Royal Palace in Tang dynasty. The Sky garden on the third floor is filled with varieties of blooming flowers that attract passersby's attention each year.
