Ye Shi-tao Literature Memorial Hall was reconstructed from the original forestry office in memory of writer Ye Shi-tao. The hall is surrounded by verdant grass and several arbor trees. In particular, two hoop pines were planted in 1951. After many years have gone by, the three-story tall trees, roughly 30m apart, began to curve to the right simultaneously and appear to be dependent on each other, therefore it is commonly referred to as the conjugal tree.
